Welcome to Angelino’s.  On behalf of Angelino’s and its staff, we sincerely thank you for taking us into consideration for your special event.  In an effort to insure your party’s success, we offer the following information, guidelines, explanation of fees, and menu options.  Keep in mind that we take great pride in customizing any menu in order to meet your specific party needs.  To best serve you, we suggest an appointment be made with one of our Managers in order to view the room & discuss any menu questions you might have.  We also offer pictures of our banquet rooms and building as well as a map on the internet at www.Angelinos.net 

 

Deposit

All events must be booked through a Manager in our Banquet Department.  A $100 deposit is required to reserve the date.  An approximate headcount is required at the time of booking.  Confirmation of the final headcount and menu details must be finalized no later than five (5) business days prior to the event.  All charges will be based upon the guaranteed headcount or the number of guests served, whichever is greater. 

 

Payment

Your deposit will be deducted from the final bill at the completion of your event.  You may pay the balance due by cash, check, or credit card.  There will be a $35 charge for returned checks. 

 

Gratuity

A 7.0% sales tax and 18% gratuity will be added to all food and beverage charges.  These will show as separate line items on your bill.

 

Smoking

Angelino’s upstairs banquet facility is non-smoking.  Please inform your guests that smoking is permitted in our first-floor Martini Bar as well as our lower-level Sports Bar.  Should you be interested, these areas may also available to accommodate your event.

 

Menu

At your request, our staff will be happy to create a menu to suit your particular needs.  Menu selections and exact count should be finalized two (2) weeks prior to your event and no later than five (5) business days prior to your event.  Plated menu selections are limited to three (3) choices.  Accompaniments will be the same for each entrée.  If pre-ordered, place cards are requested in order to identify each entrée for efficient service to your guests. 

 

Carry Out

It is our policy during a buffet or sweet table to decline carry out containers.  During food service involving plated meals, containers will be available by request only.  If you guarantee a greater headcount then your actual headcount, these meals will be available to take home by request only.

 

Desserts

Items, such as cake, not purchased from Angelino’s are subject to a cutting fee of $.50 per person (plus tax and gratuity).  The cake will be cut, served and leftovers will be boxed.  In the event that you prefer to have your guests take home cake, we ask that you provide wax paper bags or wrapping of some type.  All cakes and desserts must be purchased from a licensed bakery.  No homemade items are permitted due to health regulations.

 

Beverage Service

We offer a complete selection of bottled beer, wine, alcohol, soda, juices, coffee, cappuccino, espresso, and tea.  You may choose bar packages, wine at the table, beer/wine service, or to simply run a tab.  Note that our bar packages do not include shots.

 

The Illinois State Liquor Commission regulates alcoholic beverage sales, service, and consumption.  As a licensee, Angelino’s is responsible for administration of these regulations.  No alcoholic beverages may be brought in or removed from the restaurant.  No alcoholic beverage will be served to guests less than 21 years of age.  Angelino’s Ristorante and staff have the right to refuse service to anyone, especially to anyone without proper identification.  If anyone under the age of 21 is caught drinking on premise or requesting alcoholic beverages, they will immediately be asked to vacate the premises.  Note:  Wine may be brought in by special request, however a $12 per bottle corking fee with be charged.  No opened bottles may leave the premises.

 

Bar Fees

In addition to the cost of liquor, there is a bar charge to have a bartender on duty.  The charges are as follow:  1 – 49 guests $50, 50 – 99 guests $75, 99 – 149 guests $100, 150 and up is $150.  Any event with over 100 guests requires 2 bartenders.  (4 – 5 hour bar service)

 

Event Length

Typical events are 4 hours in length.  Longer events will incur an additional room fee per hour unless arranged in advance by contract.

 

Tastings

If a tasting is desired, it should be scheduled at least three (3) weeks prior to the tasting.  There will be a full menu charge at the time of the tasting and selections will be limited to three (3) entrees.  There should be no more than four (4) guests present at the time of the tasting.  Please schedule during off peak restaurant hours.  (Monday through Thursday 5 PM or 8 PM).

 

Table Linens

Angelino’s will provide a basic ivory linen tablecloth with your choice of burgundy or hunter green linen napkins.  Should you prefer another color, special arrangements must be make with fourteen (14) days minimum notice.  An additional linen fee will be charged, depending on the order size and requirements.

 

Weddings

We do not allow rice, birdseed, etc to be thrown due to the potential safety hazard.  The restaurant has no facility for storing wedding gifts and cannot be liable for them.

 

Decorations

Flowers, decorations, place cards, balloons, cakes, personalized napkins and such may be brought into our facility.  Please notify the management if you will be setting up or if you would like our staff to do it for you.  The responsibility for delivery and timely removal of such items shall by the responsibility of the host.  Please have any outside vendors contact us regarding convenient deliver and removal times.  Confetti, staples, nails, tacks, and permanent markers are not permitted.  Any expense incurred toward the repair, replacement or clean up of the property after a function will be charged to the host of the party.  Immediate notification of required charges will be made to the party host.  This includes special clean up of decorations, carpet cleaning, etc.  Note:  The host will be charged a minimum cleaning fee of $50 for confetti clean-up.

 

Entertainment

Please inform your entertainment that we do not permit entertainers to consume any form of liquor while working at Angelino’s.  Normal set-up is approximately one hour prior to the event.  The host should include any food service to the entertainment in the final headcount and inform management of this arrangement.

 

Outside Vendors

Angelino’s would be happy to provide floral arrangements, specialty desserts, entertainment, a portable dance floor, photographer, alternate seating, chair covers, upscale table settings/linens etc.  These are special request items requiring advance notice and additional charges will apply. 

 

Audio Visual

Angelino’s would be happy to assist you with your audiovisual needs.   We require a $25 refundable deposit for all equipment used belonging to Angelino’s Ristorante.

 

Lost And Found

Any item found during or after an event will be immediately given to the party host.  Should the party host be gone, management will leave the item at our hostess stand for pick-up.  Angelino’s Ristorante is not responsible for any lost items.

 

Youth Events

We require adult supervision at all times during events that involve minors. 

 

Sales Tax Exempt

Groups must provide a copy of the exempt status letter from the state of Illinois with all proper identification prior to the event date.

Sunday, 11 am – 11pm

(Kitchen closes at 10 pm Monday through Saturday and 8 pm Sunday)

Banquets

Monday thorough Sunday, open as directed by function contract

 

Cancellation

Cancellations of events (except wedding and events over 80 guests) require a minimum of two (2) weeks written notice.  Weddings and events over 80 guests are subject to cancellation charges.
